Crypto & Web3 plan Hybrid

Semi-Decentralized Plan MLM Software

A semi-decentralised MLM plan is a hybrid model where payments and payouts happen on a blockchain while plan rules, the member tree and reporting run on a conventional server. MLM.ERP semi-decentralised MLM software combines crypto wallet login and smart-contract payments with an off-chain commission engine, giving Web3 transparency for money and admin flexibility for rules.

Who is the Semi-Decentralized MLM Plan best for?

Projects that want crypto-native payments but expect to adjust plan rules, add products or run complex reports.

How it works

The Semi-Decentralized plan in 5 steps

  1. 1

Members connect a wallet and register; the tree is stored in the MLM.ERP database.

  2. 2

Payments are made on-chain to a contract or company address and verified by transaction hash.

  3. 3

The off-chain engine calculates commissions using the plan rules set in the admin panel.

  4. 4

Payouts are sent on-chain in batches or individually, with each transaction hash recorded.

  5. 5

Admins can update plan rules for future cycles without redeploying a contract.

Income types

How distributors earn in a Semi-Decentralized plan

Every income type below is configurable in MLM.ERP: rates, levels, caps and qualification rules.

Any plan income

Binary, matrix, level or unilevel commissions calculated off-chain by the plan engine.

On-chain direct payout

Optional instant referral share paid by the contract at the moment of payment.

Batch settlement

Periodic on-chain transfer of accumulated commissions to member wallets.

Rank rewards

Off-chain rank tracking with token or stablecoin rewards sent on-chain.

Worked example

See the numbers in action

A member pays 100 USDT on TRON to the payment contract, which instantly forwards 10% to their referrer. The remaining 90 USDT is recorded, and the off-chain engine calculates binary pairing for the upline at the daily cut-off. At 00:00 UTC, the platform sends one batch transaction covering all earned pairing income, and each member sees the transaction hash in their dashboard.

Pros & considerations

Is the Semi-Decentralized plan right for you?

Why companies choose it

  • Plan rules can evolve without risky contract redeployments.
  • Lower gas costs through batching.
  • Full reporting, KYC and product shop features remain available.
  • On-chain payments still give members verifiable records.

What to design carefully

  • Members must trust the operator’s off-chain calculations, so publish clear rules and statements.
  • Company-controlled payout wallets need strong key management and multi-signature controls.
  • Securities, payments and MLM regulations still apply; get legal review in each market.

Ask a question
What is the difference between decentralised and semi-decentralised MLM?

In decentralised MLM, the smart contract holds all the logic and pays wallets directly. In semi-decentralised MLM, payments happen on-chain but the tree and commission logic run on a server. The hybrid is more flexible to change, while the fully decentralised model is more trustless.

Why choose a semi-decentralised MLM plan?

It lets you change plan rules, add products, run detailed reports and apply KYC without redeploying contracts. You still offer crypto payments and on-chain payout records. It suits projects that expect to evolve their plan or need regulated features.

Does a semi-decentralised plan reduce gas fees?

Usually, yes. Because commissions are calculated off-chain, you can settle them in batches instead of triggering many on-chain transfers per payment. The exact saving depends on the chain, network congestion and how often you settle.

Can I migrate from semi-decentralised to fully decentralised later?

It is possible, but it needs planning. The off-chain tree would be exported to a new contract, and members would need to accept the new rules. MLM.ERP can help design a migration path, including testnet trials and a contract audit before launch.
